I want to get single 3" pipe.....not dual 2.5"....but which one would sound better.....(flowmasters)

 

Pipes all sound about the same, it is the muffler u use that makes the difference.

 

if this is a 6 cyl you are putting this on, you will be immensely disappointed. all you are going to get is a lot of noise (not a nice tone or rumble) and a great deal less power on the bottom end because you are going to lose too much backpressure. some small V-8s can't even handle 3" pipes

 

So would i be better off getting dual exhaust...or still single,,,,but with 2.5" pipes...and a flowmasters muffler?
