Default Help with new Exhuast

Hey guys,

Im trying to figure out how to get a dual exhaust on my v6 (not a true dual).
Is something like this right?
01 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM Flowmaster Single Exhaust | eBay

I dont understand what the pipes mean, and if catback means i need another catalytic converter? Whats a good exhaust to get that wont have problems fitting? Is there something specific?

I just dont wanna order the wrong thing

Cat back means it connects to your catalytic converter and goes to the rear of the car. Flowmaster, magna flow and borla are the most common companies that have cat back kits for out cars. Use YouTube and search the exhaust systems for your car and choose a brand that gives a sound you like.

You might want to change the Cat at the same time, and go with a high flow cat converter. I put a flowmaster on my car and am not very pleased with it. The sound just isnt that great. I would go with a Magnaflow high flow cat, and a Magnaflow catback exhaust. It sounds better on the V6 cars, and performance is good too. Also go with a 3" pipe, which helps to eliminate some of the "rasp" sound.
