Question EVAP test fail but no code

When I run an EVAP test on my 2000 3.8L camaro it fails, however, it isn't throwing a code, is it common that there are no codes associated with my EVAP test failure? (Sorry if this has been asked before just looking for some insight)

may be true but I have not seen it on here before. could be intermittent, a good scanner will tell if it is. could just be gas cap is not happy.

I think the system need to fail the test several times in a row. As long as the system passes once in awhile it will not set a code.

Alright thanks guys, my I/M (emissions) readiness monitors say my EVAP test failed, first thing I'll try is the gas cap because it's the easiest

Sadly, not the gas cap, I'll post what I decide to try next and how it goes
