Alright so I can get an LS1 and 4L60e transmission for about 6,000... What else is needed for this swap on my 2002 auto v6? Also, I am getting my local shop becuase I personally know the owner, can someone give me a ballpark figure on about how much you think the entire process would be, including labor costs??

 

enough to make it not worth it. for 6 grand you can get a decent Z or SS

 

ya with a lot of miles... the money isnt a problem... I would just like to keep my body becuase Ive done a lot of exterior and interior work and it just feels right i guess

 

I would have to say after you get the clutch pedals and etc... Around 3000-4000 and thats if there is no problems and assuming the sjop knows what they are doing. But yeah for that 10g's you can get a real v8 z-28 or maybe get lucky and find a ss for that. Best of luck with the swap tho if you go that way.
