I was looking at different catalytic convertors and was wondering if the magnaflow version (from Autozone), will case problems in the long run on emissions test. I am going to Germany and was trying to get everything fixed before I go. Any information will be helpful. Thanks.

 

When your car is inspected all you need to ensure is you have a catalytic converter, they will take that big mirror and look for it. I was stationed in Kitzingen for 3 years.
they arent testing for emissions, just ensuring your car has the parts its supposed too. They will also do a brake test, and ensure all your glass is good with no cracks or chunks missing on your car. So make sure your brakes are good as well. Do you have your international drivers license?

 

The Magnaflow cat should be just fine.
