car just shut off while driving

thank you craby i really appreciate it im goin to look into it now and ill let you know the book pics really do help understanding the ignition switch a little bit more. but ill give you a follow up for sure. thank you again

If it has one, its probably the Ignition Control module. It tells the coil to spark.

the same exact thing just happened to my cam. i own a 98 3.8L though. but same exact issue. the starter is cranking and it sounds like it wants to turn over but theres no spark to ingite it. i narrowed it down to two things. ignition control module or PCM... if anyone thinks its anything else please let us know. thnx

i have found the problem. i had a wire underneathe the fuse box that plugs into the ignition fuse area had popped out somehow. idk dont ask lol... but the car runs great now. thank you for all your help with it. i really appreciate it all...

when the wire had popped out it just bearly blew the ignition fuse just enough to where i had to like really look at it. found that out when we tested the voltage running through it. might want to check those little things...
