A/C Not Cold!?!?!?
First, what is the mileage of the car..If its high, systems need to be charged after a while. Is there no cold air or is it not cold enough? If its not cold enough, a recharge sounds like the answer. If all ofa sudden it went to warm air after always being cold, there is a leak in your system...If thats the case, you need to find the leak. If it needs a recharge, go to Wal-Mart and get the R134 recharge kit.. They are about $13-15 bucks. It comes with the bottle and hose to charge it.. If you do, car needs to be running at a high RPM, with the A/C on.. Let it cycle a few times and hook up the hose to the high pressure side? I think.. Its on the passenger side right infront of the A/C lines. Its a steel line with a cap on it, looks kinda like the valve stem on a bike tire.. Hook up the hose and let it run through... If there is a leak in your system get it fixed first or all that stuff will drain out...Good luck. Or just bring it to a shop and have it fixed.

2000 camaro 140,000 miles. Its cold but not cold enough. So I am guessing it needs a recharge

I'd recommend having the leak detected. The A/C system is an entirely sealed and closed system, and should theoretically never lose the refrigerant. I've come across many, many vehicles that are close to 20 years old and still blow ice cold.
