Default burning oil

recently ive discovered i was burning oil fairly bad. I have recently had a tune up, and for the exhaust system. i have pacesetter headers (which have a few exhaust leaks at certain points on the downpipe and stuffthat im gonna fix), and about 4 days ago i had put Haveline 5w 30 in it with some engine restorer. I have a 1995 3.4L Camaro, and i sorta want to make this stop smoking, any body have any suggestions to stop this???? O yea, and i put some fuel injector cleaner in it like about a week ago and im running on regular gas.

so your telling me to redrain the oil and run it on 20w 50 and it would run smoke free (nearly). so just replace the oil and filter and i'll be good. What oil filter do u suggest, right now i have a Fram, but i no they are sorta goin down hill. I talked to my one buddy and he said not to use 20w 50, since its real thick. So im a little cionfused. Any morte suggestions or opinions on this?

thicker oil (20w 50). additives dont do anything. get rid of the fram and get a mobil one or k&n.
