Default burning oil?

Hey I was wondering what would cause a lot of grayish smoke comin out of the exhaust after the engine warms up on my 67 camaro? My first thoughts were that it was burning oil but i am not really sure. Could it be something more serious like bad seals in the engine or just something simple like burning oil?

could be broken rings ... wore out cylinder walls ... valve seals ... could also mean it's running way too rich. how long has it been since the engine was rebuilt? is it loosing oil? sick

Are you sure the smoke is gray?? Usually burning oil makes a bluish smoke that likes to hang around, running rich makes black smoke that falls to the ground, water in combustion chamber makes gray smoke that dissipates quickly, also smells of burning antifreeze.

grey smoke is water in the exhaust. if it is massive clouds of grey smoke that when you hit the gas, it gets really thick then a head gasket could be in some trouble, but if its grey smoke that lingers for alittle bit but overall is not very thick, thens its the condensation forming when the exhaust starts to heat up.
