Help please! My 95 3.8 has started running like crap. After having codes read, I have replaced the MAP sensor, TPS, sensor, and now both O2 sensors. When I start it in the morning, it doesn't want to idle...I have to kinda feather it to keep it running. After a couple minutes it will idle, but it seems to surge up and down. On acceleration, it sputters and sometimes backfires. Once I get rolling, it runs smoothly. When I come to a stop, it will drop idle almost to the point where it dies and I have to gas it to keep it running. I have a new fuel filter to install next. I do not have a way to check the fuel pressure though. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

after you change the filter stop by the local parts store and see if they can help out. try and catch them when there not busy and most guys will. if not rent a fuel pressure gauge and check it. if its doing it at first start then it slims down the things it could be. fuel pressure, fuel injector/s. fuel filter, air filter, maf, ect sensor, badly fouled plugs, all i can think of.
