I have a 99 camaro V6 auto, that hesitates when accelerating. It all started a couple of months back, with a check enging light, which turned out to be MAF sensor, replaced it and light went away, the car still hesitated (stumbled), checked fuel pump pressure, was kinda low so i replaced fuel pump along with filter and FPR and new plugs and wires and since i was under the hood went ahead replaced PCV, still stumbled, took it to a mechanic he said it was TPS, went to local junk yard since a new one cost $700, picked up a couple of them cleaned them up tired each one, still stumbles, mechanic checked coils, ICM, said they were good. Could it be injectors, wouldn`t they give me codes? What esle could it be? I`m new to this form I hope i posted this on the right catagory.

 

bad gas ,timing, oxgen sensors, egr ,bad coils ( only real way to check them is to put another one on , i found this out the hard way.)

 

my car does the same thing im trying the pigtail that runs to the tps cause i replaced that sensor already...only $40 not $700...it is throwing the tps code and i have heard that the pigtails go bad after time......

 

Could be an EGR valve or a map sensor. TPS sensor can cause this but without a code would be a new one on me.

 

After getting two from junkyard and no luck I gave up and bought a new TPS from dealer, luckly I had a friend who could get a discount, car runs like a champ!!!
