Default 82 Z28 Hesitates from take off.

I have an 82 Camaro with the crossfire injection. It has been sitting for close to 2 years When I go to take off it falls on its face and then picks up and goes. But it still has a hesitation to it the hole time. Please give me some ideas on where to start. I have set the timing at 6 degree's where it says to set it but it stills does the same thing, i've put Fuel injection cleaner in but nothing. I don't have alot of money to put in to this car but it was a friend of mines and he was killed in a car accident so i'd like to fix it up if i could. Please help. thank you.

First thing that come to mind here are:
-clogged fuel lines
-clogged or dirty induction
-old/bad spark plugs
-some type of sensor being off or dirty

Not sure where to start with this one. Ironically, my 3rd gen hesitates as well if I floor it from a standstill.

It seems to be getting good fuel. I've got the plugs and wires in my truck after work I'm going to put them on to see what happens. Thank you.

Ill say it before everybody else does.....do a quick tuneup. Plugs, wires, FUEL FILTER! CHeck all your hoses and vac lines too. After 2 years of sitting, any number of small things my be adding up to this. You need to understand that a 305 is pretty much a dog no matter how you dress it up (unless u are dumping crazy money in it).

If it makes you feel any better, my car is doing the same thing right now. (Ive got a slighty different setup...see sig line..... 8*)

im not sure if the cross fire injection used a mass air flow sensor, but if it did, clean it. clean the throttle bodies as well. and since it has sat for a long time, replace the fuel filter, and at least check the plugs for any abnormalities. if you didnt drain any fuel from it, chances are the fuel lines and injectors have gummed up. and if it sat for that amount of time with ethanol fuel in it, there is going to be water in the tank, and the ethanol also eats rubber parts
