ok im relatively new i have a v6 just wasnt getting any answers there. the cars a 96 with really high gears does anyone no what all mods would have to be done to switch to 3.73 i found the richmonds were $200 any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Getting the gears is no problem. The problem is to find someone that can put them in propertly. You may want to check with your local speed shop for some ideas, check with transmission places, or even a truck repair shop where they deal with a lot of broken rears.

 

why don't you just buy a rearend with 3.73's is in already.......I don't know what kind of computer bullcrap you have on your rearend now cause i only mess with old stuff but it should be pretty easy, and might have the same mounts

 

mofo123 where are you located? My brother is a mechanic and says if you are close he can put the gear in for a small fee. Or like everyone else said check with your local performance center odds are they can do it or know someone or some place that can do it.
