not to be a dck but some miss information. z28 rear end isnt going to do any thing for you except give you posi which isnt really needed on the 3.4. in all honesty i doubt porting and polishing the intake will do a hell of a lot.

i ran the headers and magnaflow cat back i didnt notice a whole lot of difference if any at all. but there are people who say they have.

you have to be really careful with the topend swaps alot of times the 3.4 camaros pistons wont work with the new set ups. I know for a fact they have to be changed in the 3400 conversion im not sure with the 3.5 though.

the big problem with the 3.4 and why there is no real aftermarket for it is becuase no one programs the computer the biggest problem with the 3.4 the runners on the intake are very narrow which chokes the engine. there was a guy who did a lot of investigative work into it and posted a hole thread.

^As far as the Z28 rear end goes, you're wrong! Automatic 3.4's came with 2.73 gears. 5-Speed 3.4's came with 3.23 gears. The 6-speed Z28 has factory 3.42 gears (Better acceleration). Limited slip helps on the launch. and the disk brakes that come with the rear end are also a huge upgrade.

I was told the v6 had taller gears then that. Im not sure as i have never pulled the cover on it so i could be wrong. the posi isnt really needed my rear never broke lose on dry pavement. Brakes are set up to split 60/40 im not saying disks arent better but in theory they shouldn't be the problem is most times drums are out of adjustment so they dont preform good.

Edit. sorry chaotic ALL 93-95 camaros regardless of transmission came with 3.23 gears i just checked on 3 different pages.

Ah. I knew mine had the 3.23's. Someone told me that the automatics had shorter gears. Problem solved. No hard feelings lol
