Default 1999 stock cam shaft

Does n e one know the part number of the stock camshaft in my 99 3.8. And possibly a link to what other vehicles that same cam was in. About to find a can of gas to fix my problem.

Don't know the stock part # but any serries 2 or 3 3.8l have the same cam shaft. But it's got to be the n/a version not the supercharged version. So l37 and l26 motors.

I replaced the cam and now it doesnt start.. I took off front cover lined up timing marks on cam and crank, again cuz I thought it possibly could have been 180 off. I rotated engine x2 to be sure the marks Lined up. Put it all back together and nothing. Just smell fuel. Turns over, but won't start. I replaced the CPS. VERY frustrated. Bought the cam from a guy. Said it was from the lucern series 3. Did a visual of two cams side by side and they looked the same. Even if the timing was off, it would still catch but run horribly... about to throw a wrench through the windshield. Any suggestions..

Now thinking about it, wondering if I may have adjusted the valve lash wrong.. can someone tell me the proper way on these engines. The way I did it was at tdc I tightnd down the rockers to 132 inch pounds or 11 ft pounds then another 90 degrees. Is this wrong.

it has to be either your valve lash or your ignition. try checking for spark. something doesn't sound right.

Wouldn't doubt it if it was my ICM. My car seems to not like them.. I have replaced it a bunch of times.

If you've had to replace your icm a bunch of times then you should look upline into new coils and plugs. There's got to be something causing your icm to fail. Try getting an msd icm.

I.am running platinum plugs Bosch and have replaced my coils in the past. I continue to buy Autozone ICMs which may be my issue.
