Default Drive shaft, crank shaft, whatever you call it

I while ago i switched my v6 to an LSD. I was told to get a one piece drive(crank) shaft. Would the drive(crank) shaft from a z28 fit?

FWIW - a crankshaft is inside the engine, connected to the piston rods.

A driveshaft exits the transmission and connects to the rear differential.

But I'm not sure if the driveshaft length is the same for both cars (V6 vs V8).

Not everybody was born with a wrench in their hand. But someone might get one upside the head!!!

V6 & V8 have the same length drive shafts. A lot of V6ers have one piece Aluminum drive shafts out of SS cars.
