1998 v6 camaro make high pitch sound from the rear of the car only when i give it gas and totaly stops when im not?

Catalytic converter, does it have less power than before you heard the noise?

with speed not rpm.

Sounds like bearings are failing or going to failin your cars rear end. Had that happen on my Mustang, and when I upgraded my rear gears, they had a hell of a time getting one of the bearings off.
