Default high pitch squeal from rear end (?)

I have a 1979 Camaro Berlineta. recently a high pitch squeal has been coming from the back right end. The squealing stops when I press on the brakes.

I added 90w to the rear dif. there has been no change.

Has anyone dealt with this?

Any ideas?

[X(] i do believe kind sir a peek at the brakes is in order. oil bathed parts generally (inside the rear end) dont produce high pitched squeals. the brakes however are a well documented culprit of high pitched squeals. take a look at the brakes on the offending side, dust and metal to metal spots are the common causes of annoying problems kurt
