What do I need to do to make it sound good?

Default What do I need to do to make it sound good?

I have a 94z and the stock sound system (not bose) sounds really bad unless I am listening to older rock with no bass. If I put in some subs will it sound better? or do I need to put new speakers in the door panels to get the mids?

you can put new speakers in the rear and front as well as a sub and amp for extra bass..i'd go with either Kicker or JL audio because they are the best for clean bass and sound great

your probably getting alot of midbass from the speakers, you can try replacing them with non paper speakers, do you have a stock hu?

I'd try just replacing the stock speakers with a good set of 2 way's first, then if you still don't like it you can add a aftermarket head unit to get better tuning. And if you want more bass it's easy after that.
