Default Trany Question

My 95' 6speed slips out of gear and grinds whenever I put it in reverse, i need to rebuild it and wanted to know what part may be causing this problem. Also, where is a good place to find rebuild kits?

Could be a bent shift fork, which is pretty common on the T56.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know if the fork can be straightned and if so does the trans. have to be droped to reach the prob.
If it can not be straighned, how much do u think this park will cost?

The trans will need to come out, it's not really that hard, the fork needs to be replacedand while you are in there you might as well rebuild the whole thing. don't know how much a stock rebuild would be as it can differ from shop to shop.
