I have a 1999 SS and you have to hold it into reverse and ride the clutch to backup. I was wondering if this was the shift forks in the trans or the stock shifter was worn out. car has 142k on it. if its the shift forks does anyone know about how much it cost to have them replaced?

Im having the same problem and I posted a thread but it seems like no one checks in on the trans stuff...
