Default Drone Noise at 80 mph

Cruising along at 80 mph in 6th gear, notice an annoying drone sound from drivetrain, does it on any road, slowdown or speed up and noise goes away. Any ideas?

The easiest fix would be to drive 79 and slower, or 81 and faster!
Will it make the same noise if cruising 80 in 5th gear? That would at least rule out, or in, it being your tires.
