Default Noise when AC is on

Can you believe that here in Phoenix, it is already 90 degrees?

When I turn my AC on, my compressor is noticeably loud. It still pumps out cold air, it just is louder than it should be. It sounds like a bad bearing.

Any suggestions on what it might be?

Is it just the compressor clutch?

Is the compressor going south?

Could a old/stretched serp belt cause this?
