exhaust system makes terrible banging sounds when idleing, sounds like its coming from the cat. i see its all one friggin piece to the input of the cat from the manifolds.. fun funwhat the hells goin on are the guts destroyed inside or something? i looked at the setup and i HATE exhaust work.. whaddya think i should do here... take it to a shop to get them to take it off and beat the guts out of it or get a new one hah (i also hate anti pollution laws)

If it's more of a rattle, your cat's probably bad.

The cat on my Blazer went bad last winter and it made a horrible rattling sound when it idled. I probably sounded like a hobo rattling change in a tin can coming down the street.
