I have a problem I took the trans out of my car which is a 94 Z28 I needed to replace the pump so I removed the pump and when I took it out there was a brownish bronze part that is about 2 inches long its circular with an o-ring on one end and the other end is flat I will get a picture once my camera charges but does anybody know what im talking about and does anybody know where it goes that would help me so much.

all i have is for a 93 which is a 4l60, u have a 4l60e so the part may not be there. best i could do.

nope, dont know a lot about tranys. got 1 yr of auto mech in and did not include tranys.

 

Damn well thanks for the diagrams I did not see that part in there it looks like im going to have to go to the trans shop tomarrow and ask them if nobody knows
