my buddy has a 94 trans am m6 and he has a filter on the vlave cover where pcv tube used to run. my question is he is collecting alot of oil in that filter and when he checks his oil its low and has to add more. but the car doesnt smoke or anything. any kinda help would be useful. thanks

 

assuming your talking about the outlet on the passenger side valve cover, i would say the pvc valve isnt working and/or the motor is gettng tired. wihtout a working pvc the blowby will cause air to come out of that filter taking a small amout of oil with it. pvc valve on the 94 is on the driver side of the intake manifold.
