Red vs. Yellow EBC brakes
[align=left]Hello everyone!
I'm looking to upgrade the brake pads on my '96 Z-28. I've got slotted rotors on the car, and I want to get some good pads. The car is a daily driver, and I don't do any racing in it. I do want the best stop available, however.
I'm trying to decide between EBC Red Stuff and Yellow Stuff brake pads. I realize that the reds are for the street, and the yellows are for racing, but I noticed that the specs looked better on the yellows.
I was wondering if anyone had used 'em, and what folks would recommend as a brake upgrade.
Also, has anyone had any trouble with the biasing between the front and back brakes? Seems like the car is "nosediving" a bit...Looks like I'll have to check that out.
Any help/input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks a bunch,
Josh

GreenStuff is the generally accepted choice of Daily Driver type pad. I used GreenStuff on my Cavvy, and it held up to AutoX even.
Yellow-stuff has higher-operating temps, and will probably chew your rotors up when used on a DD because you'll rarely ever have them up to temp.
