Default Yellow headlights?

I just learned something new.. My headlights had turned yellow, tarnished like... a friend of mine recommended I use toothpaste and a damp towel.. I actually laughed at first but you know what, it worked. And I found it worked better with a green scuff pad and toothpaste.. anyhow, if your headlights are tarnished, give it a try, it worked for me.

Yeah... mine just happened to be a yellowish color.. but yeah, they were foggy. If its on the inside I really dont know what to do about it,, but if its on the outside toothpaste will clean it... Takes some elbow grease, but it works... DO NOT use rubbing compound... it will scratch your lenses.

Me too, maybe he'll tell us where he got that. Is it paint or 'stick-on'? I tried to get a pinstriper to do mine (front & rear) but he wasn't interested!

toothpaste and a toothbrush works alittle, you may need sand paper or a scruff pad like chrls_vns.
