Default Strut tower brace

Hey guys, i have an 01 ss camaro and i was interested in buying a strut tower brace to stiffen things up a bit. Is this worth the money? http://www.lmperformance.com/731/1.html
or is there a better brand. I dont know to much about them but i see a lot of camaro's with them, how will this help me when i install it?

I had a neon, yes a neon, and it was worth it but it was only 60 bucks helps with the body lean.

I put one on my 94. I noticed it a bit, but NOT LIKE OMG!!! honestly, that is a decent price. I would look around and see if you could find one used, but it might not be worth it since ur car is an 01 ss. The strut bars i think can only fit that model. So that narrows it down a bit. But yes, i say go for it. Also an upgraded sway bar to a 35mm in front and a 25 in back will REALLy make you happy!

Any additional support on a uni-body can only help. On my car, the STB was a big improvement along with SFC's it really tightened it upand I have a 20yr old car.

nice pic blackz87. I put my front strut brace on after my 32mm front sway bar all other suspension stuff, so it was not very noticiable for me, but if you would put it on before, im sure it would be noticed, and it just looks bad *** when you pop then hood to show ppl.

just so ya know SS, um... for the sway bars, you have a 32mm in front allready. so dont guy buy a 32, you should go with a 35 in front and a 25 in rear, i'm fairly sure you've got a 22 in back.

Does it really make that big of a difference? I was always a big fan of hp upgrades and i was never sure what suspension upgrades would do for me.... Its new to me

i hear ya, but yea, you'll like it. Sway bars will do way more. But a strut bar is a good place to start. This happened to me, i started on suspension, then i just want it tighter and tighter and tigher... so i'm sure you will keep modding after this.
