Strano springs are the ones you want -- autocross proven. Cancel your BMR order lol. 
Did you ever phone Strano to discuss your goals for the car? If not, I would still recommend doing so!
Step one for you should be to replace those kyb agx shocks with Bilsteins or Koni SA Sports... With lowering springs, you have to go with Konis, IF you want your shocks to last their full life...

Well finally got around to having all my parts installed. I lucked out on the shop i went too, and ended up saving some serious coin. 
So anyway here are some quick shots of what I have done, forgive my crappy phone quality. Still have to let the BMR springs settle in for the full drop

I have the BMR springs and KYB's and it works good for me. I have my shocks set on 6, but I'm a little heavier than you being convertible.
