Now I know how long it will last! About 2 years LOL It rusted out right at the inlet. New Magnaflow is ready to go in. The rest of the aluminized pipes look good. Pics to follow

Small update, Its been on the road 3 years now since I put her back on the road and at this point the car has cost me less they just about any other car I have owned. I think I have about 70K on her since the project was done. I broke a sway bar link and I noticed the original bar had a crack so I did the new 32mm upgrade. Also I wore out the tires I had on it, I had picked up some tires and rims off a guy when I bought a engine for my Z28, The chrome was shot but the rubber was at about 90%. Do I blacked them out.

Hell yea. How does the upgraded FSB feel around the bends?

Also the black rims look nice on your green z28. I really love that color.

It is very noticable, I have to get use to it. It really helps the nose dive on corners. Now I notice the rear feels a little loose.

Looking good man. I can't believe it has been three years. I was going to say with the thicker front bar you'd probably see a little sloppy ***.

When I started this project one of my concerns with driving a ecno box was, How safe am i?. So moving up to a larger car that still got 30+ MGP was all pluses for me. Saddly I tested that today. While driving in he left lane I encountered someone that felt they should be in the left lane. The Camaro held her ground sending the Toyota back into the right lane and keepig me out of the divider. The 2012 Toyota looks a lot worse. It hard to see in the pics but the rocker panel took the worst of it.

FYI: I hate people
No one was hurt, it was a teenage girl. Had it been a male over 18 someone might have gotten hurt,,, a lot.

That definitely sucks. I'm not 100% sure what happened from our description though. Who was in the fault? Is insurance going to take care of it?

She lane changed right into me. Her insurance should pay for everything. The cops did not write it up. They said since no one was hurt and both cars can drive it was a non-recordable.
Either way it will get fixed. Easiest fix is to find a fender and door and metal work the quarter and rocker. Its a weekend job for me if I find the right color fender and door.

Local yard is listing Green door and fender off a 94 with no damage codes. No codes is good. That means they should bolt right up. I am not sure i will get the gaps as good as they where but it will be presentable. Seem like a waste to turn the car over to a body shop that will charge 3K to do the repair. Heck I only have about $2500 in the whole car.
