Default new speakers in car.

In a 1994 camaro v6 with bose stereo i was told in order to use new speakers i would have to rewire the whole car speakers to the headunit because the bose amp wouldnt be able to be used. is it true that i would have to rewire all the speakers to the wiring harness with a different radio.

To make this easier, pretend (or actually do) sit in front of where one of your speakers would be. The door one's are the easiest so I'd go with that. If you take the stock speaker out, there should be a connector with four wires to the mini-amp that's on it. Cut it. Pick two wires from the bunch (it doesn't matter which two, I've tried all combinations and all sounded and worked the same). Wire them to your aftermarket speaker and put everything back together. Add in your aftermarket head unit and bam, you're done.
