It was throwing code 44, drivers O2 Lean. Flipped the O2 sensors around, reset the codes, and it move to the passenger side, so I replaced that sensor. That was the only code.

When you first start driving, it misses, you can hear it quite well and it's sluggish if you jump on it. Give it 10 minutes or so and it starts to run fine, no issues....until you get up in the 4500+ range then it starts to cut like it's not getting enough fuel. I haven't put my laptop on it to see what Datamaster shows. Everything on this car is a year old at best, the MSD opti may be 2 years, idr when I did it.

maybe a bad injector? I'd be interested to see what the computer says for sure.

Can you cut out individual cylinders?

If there is a way, I do not know how to do it. I will data-log and record and see what comes up. But the code has not come back since replacing that O2, or if it has, it hasn't throw the light.

Rechecked codes. Getting code 28 (Quad Driver module 3) and Code 71 (Evap sensor failed) neither of which should cause an issue.

Record some data, I can get a video of the recording. Takes 52 second to go to closed loop. Nothing is out of the norm. It shows slightly lean, under light throttle, which is part of the tune to try add increase mileage. Could that be the miss?

Canister Purge is out of whack. Drivers side base pulse width for the injectors is coming up yellow, but isn't far off the passenger side. TPS volts at idle is .53, enough to cause an issue being .03 off? I'll get pics of the log but nothing stands out to me.

is your car an auto trans? 28 is related to the auto trans, 26 is the quad module

93 obd1 shows 28 as quad driver module, 71 is a/c related

^ That

DataMaster even has Code 28 as the QDM 3. I had this code before when I first got the car.

Neither of these should effect drive-ability. I'll post the datalog pics tonight. Gotta clean the black Camaro cause it goes bye bye tomorrow (hopefully).

Well I got the stumbling issue fixed. Was another exhaust leak problem. But shortly after the transmission started acting up. You'd jump on it, it go for a split second, then rev like it was in neutral and usually make a banging sound like a hammer on steel. Thought maybe rear bit the dust so I pulled the cover and it was clean as can be. Transmission was next thought, so I pulled the pan...

Kinda bummed cause I just changed the fluid and filter less than two months ago. But I already got the trans pulled out. Much easier the second time around...didn't even touch the exhaust.

My uncle has a 700r4 sitting in his garage he'd sell me. The transmission is built, HD clutches, shift kit (full manual VB), K-case...it already has the torque arm tail shaft. The debate I'm running into is it's a non-lock up transmission and the torque converter was spec'd for a mild build BB and it's physically smaller diameter, bolt circle is the same I believe. I didn't get a chance to check to see the input spline count to see if my TC would work...but would it hurt to use a lock-up converter in a non lock up trans? Could I make this trans a lock up? Or am I stuck with the converter he has (no idea on stall, he can't remember). I don't absolutely need the lock-up...but for how much I drive it, it'd would be nice.
