Default LT1 Flywheel Suggestions

Hey guys, I have a 96 SS and just bought a McLeod Street Pro Clutch (400hp rated) and want suggestions on what I should buy for a flywheel to match. Material, brands, any suggestions. Thanks!

If you're not running over 400hp I'd probably just have the stock flywheel turned if it's not too far gone.
If you want something lighter check out https://www.ramclutches.com/?setcookie=true
I have their 19.5lb aluminum flywheel in my car to help offset the weight of the LS7 clutch I have. (Make sure you get an LT flywheel)
I also went with a Tick Performance adjustable master cylinder ,the stock masters in these cars are a bit weak but it's maybe a little overkill for most cars unless you plan on a lot of hard driving autocross style where you are doing a lot of shifting.
One thing I would suggest for any 4th gen owner is the Strano performance brake master cylinder brace ,very easy to install and a good piece.
The firewalls on 4th gens have a lot of flex and move when you push on the brake or clutch pedal, this piece pretty much eliminates that problem and also aids in shifting besides braking.
I'll post a link to their video showing the flex, it's an eye opener!

One other thing you might want to invest in is a good short throw shifter, I bought an MGW (top rated ) when I first bought my car along with a bunch of other parts for a make over.
I had barely driven the car as the weather turned bad just after I got it and she sat in the garage for the rest of Fall and Winter (not my daily driver).
When I had all the work done in the Spring I found out it had a B&M "Ripper" already in it (lol). If you want it I'll make ya a sweet deal,it's a nice piece as well.
They run about $250,if you want mine and it's in perfect condition I'll let it go for $100 shipped (PM me for details).

If your car has the "skip shift" feature (not sure if '96 did) you'll want to get the skip shift eliminator installed,(WTF was GM thinking?)
