@95 camaro 406 did you ever consider running your exhaust out the side instead of going through the back?

yes but its a lot of work ,actually I was just kidding I like it the way it is ,its so loud the guy 7 houses down say he can hear it clear as if it was next door ,an to think when I add the full bores will be even louder ,I put single chamber magna flows an I blew the chamber on right side ,a bad spot weld wich rarely happens ,so to keep it safe full bore should be no issues ,it ticked me off after I spent $900.00 to install it the true duals that is ,then 1000 miles later a raspy noice from passegers side ,so while its got a life time warranty ,I need to take them off an order the full bores to kill 2 birds with one stone, for now I can live with it ,but one of the bugs to work out,i also have plans for 2 8x4 inch tips to ,there a heck of a lot cheaper then the 24 inch ones I had on the lt1 ,I would have put those back on but to long now selling those to pay for the others $69.00 I set for magna flow ,the 24s were $140 a set ,the thing I like about magna flow is they will last a life time if you take care of them

when I finish the front end conversion ,I will put valvoline 10w40 conventional with zddp + an seafoam with each change ,wont change the k&N filter this time ,an will change the Anti freeze with orange allways ,an go about 3000 miles or the season ,I think 3 oil changes in the first 2000 miles is enough to get out any tiny frags with newer engines ,an tweak few things this summer .time to have the car back out on the road

Leave the SeaFoam out. Just my opinion. Oil is a delicate mixture of additives and detergents. Adding any thing to it means the things you actually need in the oil is now fighting for space with things you don't need.

If you're going to switch to Dex-Cool, I'd change it every few years, not every year. It's good for 5 years/150k miles and changing a year or so before the 5 will keep you on top of it. I like the green stuff though. Cheap and easy to get.

HUmmm I wonder couse gorn had said it helps for gunk build up an stops it from happening ? mabey he just ment at storage or a few times a year ,couse I also been known to use stp oil treatment in between changes with zinc , changes yes dex cool is good I was only wanting to do it just a few times ,one thing that was not done was a good flush of the res, wich had some gunk in it ,I know should have pulled an cleaned it out ,it has been changed 2 times ,one more time then every few,car is starting to look like a car again

I'd use it may be before an oil change. But I'm not the type that would would run it constantly. I personally use a little ATF before changing the oil but that's me. Realistically though, if you change the oil on time and use a quality filter, you shouldn't have to worry about any gum, sludge, or varnish.
