And that's including turbo mufflers. It's a hole in the wall shop that hardly charges anything for labor. Even gonna throw an x pipe in there.

No he has a mandrel bender. What it is is that his shop is paid off so any work he does, he doesn't charge hardly any labor.

WellI installed a new rear end in my car today! A friend of mine blew a head gasket in his 3800 auto and his car happened to have the upgraded 3.42 LSD rear from factory. He swapped me straight across for my 2.73 rear being that he's selling the car for scrap and doesn't care what rear end is under it when he sells it. Sweet! Now I have my 3.42 gears back! Car is sooo much peppier! Also replaced lower control arm bushings and ball joints in the front today. Front end alignment and new front tires this weekend!

 

I bet going from a 2.73 to a 3.42 makes a HUGE difference, but nice score for you, especially if its for free.

too bad you guys are so far away, I'd take a 3800 car for scrap price, I kind want to do a v6 nitrous car for fun and see how far I can push it
