Ok so hello to all.

I have a 96 rs camaro and replaced the 3.8l withal carbed 350. Its a fun ill project car for my son . Anyhow the problem I have is the gages. I got the oil and temp to show on cluster. But when I try to do the alt. Which is the red wire for generator output indicator control. Where do i hook the that to. Now also I changed alt to single wire self exciting. So I can get gage to move if I ground it. But it shows way low on actual volts. 10 or less and battery is at 12.3v.

Then the next question is the fuel gage. I know its the purple wire. But where does the wire goto? The fuel pump relay? I am lost.

Ask this cause I want to use stock gages without having to see ugly aftermarket gages just sitting in the old chubby where cds and crap goes.
