yea, that does look pretty bad. but i was curious abou the exhaust cause im soon to be ordering me a set of kooks. i wasnt gonna get the cated y-pipe. so i guess mine would be hooking to the cat. i was wanting to get rid of the cat anyways cause i dont need them here for emmisions .ill just get some pipe and fit it together. i dont have a 93, i got a 95, but i knew they were alittle different, but didnt know it was that much.

i think the race kooks come all the way to the cat back. shouldnt need to add pipe.

hay dope u want to get rid of your egr/a i r pipes and hoses. u know the ones that come out of the exhaust and go down the front and across the front of the motor? if thats the way yours is and your taking that stuff off i could sure use it. doin my best to keep the computer happy. lol was bolting the torque converter up today and found it wasnt lining up right thought it was the tranny at first then i thought it was the crank surface was not true and was getting ready to pull it when i figured i try and flip the flex plate, the measurements changed with it. so i looked closer at the flex plate and its got a indentation in it close to the center, had to look close to see it. it lined right up with the side that was wack. what a relief. i gotta invest in a magnetic micrometer. lol

well i am still hung up on the oil filter and trying to get it relocated. cannot get the oil cooler to work in the stock location with the kooks and the moroso oil pan. i think if i didnt have that oil pan it might work but i wouldnt put money on it. i have another style filter relocator coming to see if it will work better than the trans dept one i got from bordens. the problem i run into is routing the hoses. they are to close to the headers and im afraid they will melt. busted the oil pressure sensor so i had to order one of those. got the wrong one from parts store, to short, i need the one that works on the 93 4th gen not the 94. hard to find but advanced has it so i have one coming. i am really not very happy with the way kooks are fitting or the service i am getting from them. called and wrote to em to see how they figure these are for my car. not a word back from em. i called summit to let them know that the kick out oil pan will not work with long tube headers without a fairly spendy modification.

kooks has finally responded and apologized for the mess. they have changed there catalog and no longer claim these egr headers will fit a 93 camaro. for u 93 owners there is not a egr header sold for the 93 by anyone that i can find. if u want to keep the egr setup u will have to use a egr system from a 94 or 95 and order the 94-97 egr headers. i did get a refund from maryland speed http://marylandspeed.com/index.php for my hardship and have gotten stellar service and pricing from them. i will be getting my corsa exhaust from them when i can afford. brandon helped reseach the fit and was very understanding.
on the oil pan summit has changed the wording in the applications for the oil pan to let consumers know lt headers will require modification or will not fit with the pan. i hope all this helps some guy in the future. lol
