yep, and ill have current engine as a long block backup,,,,

 

so did something happen that you needed a new build? Or just getting that itch?

 

the 383 has been setting here for a couple years just wanting to be finished... seem to have some funds that have no where to go so I figured what the heck I can always use more power,,, gotta up the torque converter up to a 3200 stall to cover the cam. 230/238 584/584 110 ol

 

slowly getting it together. took a while to figure out why one lifter seemed to not be adjusting the same as the rest. top left of top pic. after thinking on it and taking it apart a few times I finally looked at the bolt itself,,, hahahahahah felt sooo stupid...

 

We definitely want to hear a cold start video when she's up and running.
