Building My Motor and Dont No what Size Push Rods to get HELP!
Hey im building my motor and need a little help from you guys.. So heres the Scoop, its a 383 Stroker LT1 with a Xtreme Fuel Injection, 292XFI HR13 cam. I just bought my heads about an hour ago.. I went with the TrickFlow Twisted Wedge Heads Intake Port Size 2.02, Chamber Volume 63cc, Intake Runner Vol. 180cc, Exhaust runner Vol. 76cc... Im looking Through all these papers for the engine Build, The Cam, and the Heads and cant find anything about the push rods... oo and by the way i have Crane Gold Series 1.60 Roller Rockers.. Hopefully someone can help me and save me alot of time and running to get a push rod that measures the size... Thanks!! and also does anyone know if Melling High Volume Oil Pump Part # M-99HVS is good or Junk?? Seems Good buy Priced Cheap Compared to the other!

always ALWAYS measure to find your pushrod length. i believe comp cams makes a pushrod measuring tool. i'd also think your engine builder could help you with something like that but i guess i could be wrong

that oil pump is for a 305, heres the oil pump called for in a lt1, NAL-12555884
i used the trick flow pushrods, TFS-21407100 after measuring
and like whammer says pick up a comp cam measure, i used CCA-7702-1 with no issues.

Alright so0o I droped the heads and Intake off to my machine guy to have my intake done to my heads and he let me use his measuring pushrod... but about the oil pump, the one you posted is stock, im looking for a high volume one... autozone keeps telling me melling m55hv... but when I look it up is says for 1st gen 350's not the lt1's... of course theyll hire any bum off the street at autozone so0o now im looking for a good high volume oil pump thats reasonably priced...

you want a high volume/ high pressure pump if thats the way you wish to go. the lt1 is a close tolorance motor so unless you have some major stuff going on i dont think you will need it, anyways you could get the high volume one and add a high pressure spring. i would recomend a bigger oil pan if you are going that route.
