Default LT-1 vs LT-4

I own a 97 Z28 30th anniversary with an lt1 and have been looking into pulling the motor and converting it into an lt4. i was wondering what are all of the differances between the two? are they 2 different blocks or are they the same? i do know that the intake injectors and cam is different but is there anything else?

the blocks are the same. just about everything else is different. i think you can do better with what you have for less, the lt4 cam is not that great. if you can get heads and intake for cheap its not a bad way to go, you would want to have them p&p'd to realize the gains needed to justify the change. why not get a le2 job done on the ones you have and pick a cam for your needs from the selection. not hard to get 400hp. lloyd is a class a power maker look the site over and if your interested give him a ring and tell him what your wanting and he can set you up.

heres a more detailed list of differences, sure did alot for 30 hp.
