yah if thats what you want then you will need the intake and heads with the rockers. u can cam it but i would go with like a cc503 or a elliotts emmisions cam.

it won't add any value to your car by doing this, just so you know.

otherwise, go with what craBy said

i plan on keeping this car for a long time so im not interested in adding value ive always loved the sound and looks of an LT-4 so thats what i want to put in the 97. ive also been looking at some new headers casue i might just put the lt4 cam in the lt1 what are some good brands that make headers for the LT-1?

kooks is the best. pacesetters are good. why would you want to use a lt4 cam? they arent that good.

i like the lt4 becasue it's a little bigger than my lt1 and it has a little rougher idle. i dont want to go any bigger for a car i drive everyday

cc503 from comp cams is a much better cam choice. lots of guys daily drive it and it makes more power and has the sound you'd be looking for

that i'm not sure of but i wouldn't be surprised. you could also go custom grind from lloyd elliott or advanced inductions. you'd get much of the same manners with more horsepower and, more than likely, better fuel economy

Yeah I'd look into Lloyds stuff and just paint your intake red... youll get a better finished product for less
