93 Camaro Build thread *LOTS OF PICS*

That's coming along NICE! The 3.4 intake must be easier to access than the 3.8's, because the upper intake on a 3.8 would be much better to bolt on while the engine is out. One bolt in particular, if I remember correctly from when I put in the cam and rebuilt heads on mine.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying my build so far, I just placed an order from summit for my msd coils and super conductor wires, so they should be here friday. I have high expectations for this build.

Another update! I got my MSD coil packs and wires installed and they look great!
I also pulled the trigger and bought Comp Cams hardened pushrods and 1.6 roller rockers. I know it will be worth it when I'm done.
I should have the motor in and running tomorrow so expect an update

Just saw this
I've never seen those valve covers before, I've seen the stockers cleaned up and such, but that's the first aftermarket chrome set I've seen, looks slick. Should've done a top swap while you're doing all this, then ya get the awesome aluminum heads and the like
Build looks good so far, I love seeing people give the 60* v6's some time and money, what most people don't know is that they actually have more power potential than us 3.8 guys, but the aftermarket never caught on. Makes things more complicated, but I've seen some stupid fast 60* v6's. There's a guy on another forum building a 3500 with one of the rare bowtie blocks (iirc), aluminum rods, forged knife-edged crank, turbo, been a few years in the works but it's gonna spank just about everything out there.
And a quick side note, just one you may not know. Those MSD coils will be fine for a while, but if you develop a miss, there's your problem. They don't handle heat at all, just not very durable.

Thanks for the info/feedback MusicMan The valve covers are actually made for a 2.8l S10, so instead of running a tube from the cai, I will be using a breather because these have no hole for the tube.
I will definatly keep the msd issue in mind if I ever notice it running bad.

Thank you very much nj85z28
I'm about to head down to my garage and finish putting the motor in and hooking everything up. Hopefully she will run today.
