Well, tried tracking down the CMP error. Ran a test on the voltage at the harness which read 11v with the keyed power on. Ohms were 1 with a 0 - 5 acceptable working range so it seems like the harness is good to go. Went and bought a new PCM but it was bad and didn't do anything other than turn the car over. Even tried writing a tune to it and still no go. I think maybe the harness was twisted or something. Since I reinstalled the old PCM the CEL hasn't lit up but I can still see the error through the programmer.

Took her out for a spin last night. She did alright. A couple of times it seemed as if she started idling really low when I was coming to a stop. I think the computer is trying to relearn the new engine but I'm not sure.

When I pulled it back into the garage there was a burnt rubber smell and smoke coming from the driver's side of the engine bay. I couldn't locate what exactly was smoking. It wasn't the spark plug wires, that's for sure. I couldn't see anything else on that side of the engine bay that would make that smell or smoke though...

Well, the fans wouldn't kick on and I went into a custom tune with the diablosport and set them to turn on at 170 and off at 280 (the max). They finally kicked on but they wouldn't kick on with the A/C going only with the car off. So I'm wondering if maybe the relay(s) that have the hot wired to them might be bad? Does anyone know how to check a five/four prong relay with a voltmeter?

I'm still getting the camshaft position error also. I've checked the harness and everything came out alright as far as I can tell. Voltage read 10-11v and ohms were 1. I'm wondering if the PCM is bad or something.
