Almost there!

Got (I believe) the rest of the wiring taken care of yesterday, and installed the fans/radiator/AC condenser. One of the smaller hoses that goes from the radiator to the water pump disappeared somehow, so I'm gonna have to replace that and add coolant before starting it up. Also, I didn't add ATF to the torque converter prior to installing it. Should I add extra ATF for the trans to pump into the converter? Is there anything particular I need to do for this?

I also have a B&M Trans cooler that I plan to install. Here is how I intend to mount it:

mine came with some plastic zip tie sorta things that went through the radiator and condenser. also had some rubber pads to go between the cooler and condenser.

None of that stuff came with mine, I'm going to have to buy it separately. Is that how you have yours mounted?

So my next question: tune. I'm considering getting a mail-order tune (probably pcmforless.com), if nothing else for a decent baseline. When I looked for stuff before, it was really tough to find anyone who still does LT1s, and the people I did find were like an hour away. So I'd get a mail-order tune, use that probably for this season, then maybe get a street tune a bit later down the road. Thoughts?

So I tried firing it up today. I can hear the fuel pump prime, and there is a loud "click," which I believe is the starter, but no crank. I know that there's any one of a thousand things that can be wrong the first time you try to start it once it's back together, but I have no idea where to start. Thoughts?

turned out to be a bad starter. Once I got it replaced, I managed to get it started!
