dont give up. drilling that or drilling/extracting that will be worth it.

Well that blows my next suggestion of using duct tape on the corner.
You're one of the lucky ones where an easy-out actually worked, instead of snapping off inside the bolt.
So don't forget this time, 1,000 ft. lbs. of torque on the bolts, then drive them home with a sledge hammer!

haha too late. Got the intake manifold in, without snapping off any bolts this time(!). Also got the throttle body installed.

so there's this small vacuum line that comes out of the wiring harness toward the back of the engine, near the rear of the intake manifold. Where does that one plug into?

should go to the intake. one of the small nipples on the rearward passenger side. its the hvac hose http://shbox.com/1/evap_sol.jpg

yea it sounds like your describing the hoses that are used in the hvac system
