so the beauty of that engine bay aside, what do you guys think about the strut tower brace?

^ STB will improve your handling when doing U-Turns, Cornering, Lane Changes, etc.

But get some new shocks (SLP Bilsteins or Koni SAs) -- stockers suck. Look into bigger sways too, Strano 35/22, or SS ones.

I have that STB on my SS -- lightest one out there, AFAIK.

the guy wants $200 for it. I really want a polished strut tower brace, but this is an LS1 style (fits, but an LT1 wouldn't have that bulge), and with how much more I've spent on my cars than I planned, idk if I can justify getting this before I have a steady income again. Thoughts?

I'd say a strut tower brace is a must, it makes a huge difference if you like to play around with the car. But I don't know about the chrome...that looks more like a show car, not a go car. Unless you plan on cleaning it constantly, it probably won't stay shiny for long. Unless you don't drive your car at all.

well I really want to dress up my engine bay as go, so I figured a chrome STB would be a good way to do that.

so I'm thinking about lowering springs...found these on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EIBAC...6#ht_511wt_939

I'm a little leery because these are about $150 cheaper than any other Eibach Sportlines I've seen, so I'm just worried it might be a little too good of a deal, if you know what I mean. The car has otherwise stock suspension as far as I know, although the rear shocks are orange. Also, is 1.8" drop a bit too much? Will I need to worry about clearance with that?

also, I've noticed that a few other build threads have become stickies...could somebody make mine a sticky as well? Thanks!
