Z28 Selection Help?

I didn't realize that there were changes on the ignition, although I do know that they are troublesome.

GM is probably like most manufacturers in that the last year or two is far better than the first one or two of production.

Generally speaking, is the OBD II more accepting of mods?

Yes they can be reprogrammed easily with a laptop with the proper software or from a dyno shop. Any mods you make to the intake, cam, injectors, exhaust, gears, or what have you can be done at a dyno shop in just a couple of hours. Much better than ordering a new chip and having to solder it into the computer or pull and replace.
