Default cam selection help

ok so i have a 1997 Chevy Camaro V6-3.8 series II with about 200hp, so far ive added a cold air intake i made myself with a APC air filter, and a K&N Oil Filter, now im ready to get my hands dirty and go a bit more in depth and start with a new cam but i dont have a clue what to buy or what i should be looking for, so any help would be nice. also i plan on adding a daul exhaust kit, any tips where to go? i know i can get one for atleast 250-350 so the more i save on that the more i have to buy a cam. oh yeah helpful i plan on adding a turbo, from what i read a roots type charger the pulley robs power, but a turbo would be a better set up so yeah.

Thanks

Default RE: cam selection help

Iv'e looked for a cam for a while now, my problem is that none of the companys make an emisions legal cam for me, (I'm in CA). Comp cams does have a few cams for these motors and one of them says that it works well with super/turbochargers. Crane also has a few.Good luck in your search.

So if anyone runs across a CARB compliant cam let me know.

Marc

Can't you just get around the issue with a PCM tune? Removing cats and deleting the related codes is an example...
