just a thought here OP, but what u got done as far as suspension goes? my thought is instead of making your car faster(which no offense, but sounds like u need that like u need a hole in your head) why don't you make it more fun to drive. ie make it handle better and make it launch better. to me haulin *** thru some twisties by myself is more fun than a street race.

I HAVE AROUND 4k into my f'ing tranny... he bought a junk yard turbo kit and wins???? ANY THOUGHTS? OR HELP ON UPPING MY HP CHEAP? I have a full ZEX kit with full purge etc... haven't ran it cause I hear the LT1's have head gasket issues, especially with nitrous... so what shot can I use without damaging the car??? GAY!!!! I'm so pissed, I've been beating up to 2005 Corvette's and a 98 Viper... NOW A LITTLE NISSAN WINS!!! GRRRRRRRRR
since you've had time to "calm down", would you mind filling in the gaps and detail for us your complete setup

^^^ agreee what gears? what trany? what tires? without a proper match u will not get a good holeshot. if its a 10 bolt it wont last long if the cars running right.

no one called him out on have 400hp to the wheels from a hotcam? okay i will...BS! i have a bigger cam and all your goodies that you have claimed and i'd be shocked if i made 350 to the wheels. either you're lying or your dyno is EXTREMELY generous.

now...you want to win the race? lower control arms and relocation brackets for the rear, torque arm, better struts. that will help you immensely with being able to hook.

but with the 320rwhp that i'd guess you have, you might still be in for a race

and LT1's do have a tendency to blow head gaskets, but a 100 shot of nitrous is very safe for an LT1. most would agree that 150 is the higehest they would go on a stock bottom end

Agreed ^ glad u said that. How often do dyno numbers come out at an even 400 anyway. I also think that there is a spate of after market dyno sheets going around in my area, all these guys with high 3-400 horsepower claims running mid and low twelves at the track. I know that those cars should be in the mid to low 11's. THere is a term to describe estimated horsepower it is called butt-horsepower ratings Because that is where it came from.

interesting I didnt think of that. if he did have 400 to the wheels then he would be doing 12's easily and 11's if the suspension, and tires were setup right

If you are referring to my comment then you may want to reread it because my comment is a conditional statement

How great do u think the odds are that he put it on an engine dyno....now i might be mistaken- he may have also made the calculations for the drivetrain loss, what do u think? Nevertheless a good point crabby I didnt even think about that.

Peak HP isn't as important as average HP from shift to shift in a race. Where are your shift points and what does your HP curve look like between those RPMs?
